One of the things I have the hardest time making is homemade gravy. My sister is a pro at it though. When she’s over for the holidays, I always assign her the gravy to make. She just has the touch I guess. I’ve watched her make it and she’s given me the general instructions, but somehow hers is always just a bit better. I did notice the last time we cooked at my house that the pot we usually use was a bit too small to mix a big batch of gravy in. I think I’d like to get a nice large pan to cook in, like this gorgeous Rachael Ray Porcelain Enamel 12 Inch Covered Saute Pan.

Not only is it a beautiful pan, but it’s also wonderfully versatile. It’s ideal for making anything from omelets, pancakes, quesadillas, to sauteing vegetables, searing steaks, fish, poultry, and more. The high sides of the large deep saute pan prevent your foods and liquids from splattering on your stove top. The glass lid allows you to keep an eye on your food while it’s cooking and the silicone handles make it a very easy pan to move and carry even when filled.
