How to Create Headlines

Two years ago I moved into a beautiful new home with a porch that wrapped around the front of the house, down the side and into the back yard. It was this porch that sold me on the place because I love living outside most of the year. In fact, I will stand in the snow to grill in the dead of winter because there is nothing like being outside. My wife, however, is a designer and insisted on trying a railing planter at several locations to spruce up the porch and give it a little color.

We have had several aluminum rail planters for two seasons now and it’s amazing how much they lend to the atmosphere outside. They are really very pretty and when winter sets in I really miss them being in full bloom. The aluminum has held up very well and they have also held their silver color much better than I had anticipated. We have many other outdoor planters and really enjoy them all along the porch and railing. We are constantly getting compliments on how nice everything looks outside and it is an enjoyable place to spend a great deal of our time.
