A stainless steel chafing dish is really quite versatile. There are recipes, like a hot crab dip, that are can completely cook in a chafing dish. Or recipes such as the ever-popular Swedish meatballs that you cook before the party then simply reheat and serve in the chafing dish. There are also the modern, hip recipes like one I found for edamame and tofu. Seriously, this is entertaining at its easiest. Your guests get warm food and you get to spend minimum time in the kitchen. It’s rare to find kitchen serveware that actually lets you enjoy your own party, so everyone should maximize the use of their chafing dishes!
